In August 2009, four paddlers descended the Kaanaayaastisitkw, Corvette, and Pontois Rivers to the Trans-Taiga Highway. This was an exploratory route for Keewaydin. The trip lasted nine days from our put-in on the Kaanaayaastistikw to the bridge over the Pontois.
